Roark has proven his leadership in positions such as Lead Primary Structural Design Engineer for SOFIA, the Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy and Lead Thermal Systems Design Engineer for Gulfstream Special Missions military aircraft. Roark’s successes reflect a unique balance of technical proficiency with modern CAD software and analytical tools with a background in prototype fabrication and project leadership.
